MN Workplace Injury Report

The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry estimated workplace injury and illness rates for 2016 were the lowest since the measurement started in 1973. The survey estimates the state had 73,600 workers with OSHA-recordable nonfatal workplace injuries and illnesses in 2016, compared to 75,000 for 2015. DLI collects injury and illness records from randomly sampled Minnesota employers in the private and public sectors.
