VW Money Earmarked In Minnesota

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has announced what it plans to do with around $47 million in settlement funds from Volkswagen. The money will be distributed over 10 years in three phases. In the first phase, the money will be used for school bus and heavy equipment replacement and for the installation of electric vehicle charging stations. About 60% of the money will target the metro, and 40% will target Greater Minnesota.
