Long-time Minnesota Public Radio reporter Marianne Combs has resigned after accusing MPR of blocking a story where she investigated sexual misconduct claims against a DJ at The Current. Combs announced her resignation Monday morning, claiming MPR was trying to prevent a lawsuit by blocking the story. MPR President Duchesne Drew released a statement after Combs’ resignation, saying he supports the editors who worked on her story and the story didn’t meet the company’s standards.
