Water Dept. to Begin Flushing Water Mains

The City of Bemidji Water Department will begin flushing water mains on
Thursday, April 14 at 7:00 a.m. and continue until approximately the end of
May. Flushing can be daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until completed. If your water becomes discolored, due to iron, during this period, run your COLD water until clear again. You could experience low water pressure at this time. The Bemidji Water Department apologized if the flushing cause any inconvenience.
